Cheryl Garner (born 1982) is a UK-based artist, working primarily through iterative studio processes that explore the concept of the Expanded Landscape, examining space as performative, relational and shaped by lived experience.

Garner's work treats landscape as an open ground in which multiple voices and narratives - including those that are quiet, partial or marginalised - could coexist.

Garner's proposed doctoral research builds directly on this foundation, narrowing her focus to landscapes and portraits as relational frameworks shaped by maternal care and non-verbal communication.
